The new EPX range of elements, manufactured in Italy by UFI Filters Hydraulics, is completely interchangeable with Mahle’s PI range and is used in high-pressure applications
Designed for installation in hydraulic pressure applications with Mahle’s filter systems, EPX filter elements combine the best features of FormulaUFI media with UFI Filters Hydraulics’ know-how and more than 30 years of experience in the filtration sector.
FormulaUFI media technology for the new EPX series
The EPX series includes a wide range of filter elements, available in different sizes and lengths, with different media and degrees of filtration.
Specifically, the EPX elements have been developed using the FormulaUFI range of filtration technology:
- FormulaUFI.CELL, in cellulose from 10 to 25 microns
- FormulaUFI.WEB, in wire mesh from 10 to 250 microns
- FormulaUFI.MICRON in synthetic fibre from 5 to 30 microns, in both standard and high collapse versions up to 21 MPa (210 bar).
The standard element is supplied with an NBR (nitrile) seal but can be configured with an FKM (fluoroelastomer) seal for high-temperature applications on request.
In addition, for specific applications, our staff are available to identify the most appropriate customized filtration solution for each specific fluid cleanliness target.
EPX filter elements from UFI Filters Hydraulics protect hydraulic systems from failure and unplanned downtime.
