RETURN FILTERS

The return line filter is an essential part of any hydraulic system. In many instances it is the only “system protection” provided and therefore must be carefully chosen to ensure maximum system efficiency.

UFI FILTERS PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT

With their advanced production technology UFI Return Filters play a critical role in your system by ensuring that the fluid is kept free from contamination.
Iimmediate benefits for you are :
- increased life of system components
- higher machine utilization with less down time
- significantly lower maintenance costs.

. . . AND THEY PROTECT YOUR OIL RESERVOIR

“TANK CARE” is provided by UFI Return Filters through the elimination of solid contaminants, generated by deterioration of system components, that enter the oil reservoir and ultimately return to the system through the suction lines. Contamination introduced through complete component failure or repairs made to system piping or flexible lines will be efficiently removed by UFI Return Filters. “TANK CARE” will always guarantee clean fluid being returned to your tank and further extend your system and fluid life.

BYPASS VALVE: ADDITIONAL “TANK CARE” FROM UFI

With the inclusion of UFI bypass valve the UFI Return Filters can tolerate wide flow variations without damage or element collapse. This permits more system efficiency and lower costs.

UFI BYPASS TECHNOLOGY

UFI bypass valves provided on UFI Return Filters are manufactured with large flow passages that provide low flow differentials and offer maximum protection to system, filter and element in the event of high flow surges. These high flow surges will allow contaminated fluid into the tank and should be avoided by correct sizing of the filter taking all operating parameters into account. To eliminate this possibility and to help you choose the right UFI Return Filter for your application UFI has developed a Quick Selection Chart on the following pages including all the parameters needed to correctly size Your filter selection.

CLOGGING INDICATOR:
A MUST TO GUARANTEE THE QUALITY LEVEL

The Clogging Indicator continuously monitors the filter element condition and gives an exact indication of the efficiency status of your filter. That’s why this device is recommended as it avoids unnecessary element changes, giving the indication for the Filter Element change only when really necessary.
