sizing a return filter it is essential to calculate the real maximum
flow rate passing through it, considering if multiple lines are
connected to the filter or if any differential cylinder or accumulator
is in the system. If the foregoing cannot be determined, as a
guide, 2.5 times the pump delivery should be considered. The filter
element life is also significantly effected by the pollution level
at the machine location and by the maintenance level of the machine.
Considering these parameters the actual flow rate should be multiplied
